Our Practices

At Speedwell we work towards defining what ecological farming means to us on the front range and in our small-scale context. We glean knowledge and applications from all of the different ecological models;  Organic, Regenerative, Biodynamic, Permaculture, Bio-Intensive and Closed-Loop systems. By observing all of these different models we have built a farming system that works to benefit the land we tend. We are committed to minimal tillage and use of heavy machinery in our growing spaces. The health of our soil, local wildlife, our community and customers are at the forefront of everything we do. We are always striving to educate ourselves more and work towards being at the cutting edge of small-scale sustainable agriculture.
